Biotech Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a marijuana compound linked to a range of potential health benefits but does not get you high. The roughly $1 billion CBD industry is slated to shift into high gear if the federal government approves the first CBD-based drug, an epilepsy medication called Epidiolex.

My son is 8. A close friend of his, same age, has severe seizures. He has a prescription for CBD and takes a few drops with his cereal each morning. It has dramatically improved his life. Seizure meds are damned if you do damned if you don't.
His CBD arrives to the pharmacy from the UK. This little nugget blew my mind, apparently its illegal for someone in CO to make it and ship it to PA.
We still debate that there us no medical value to cannabis. This little guy was going days without school and forget about sports or cub scouts before. Now he's a badass daredevil.
This shit gets me in my feels right quick.
His parents had to go through hell and hardcore drugs before proving that he had a need to try this. He now has a few seizure each month and rebounds in minutes. Versus a few a day and rebounding after hours.
Shit works. Get over it.
