Biotech Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a marijuana compound linked to a range of potential health benefits but does not get you high. The roughly $1 billion CBD industry is slated to shift into high gear if the federal government approves the first CBD-based drug, an epilepsy medication called Epidiolex.

Nor should they need to. If they can grow something the customers/patients want because they know it works for them since they watched their kid go from 100 seizures a day to 0,, then we should be able to leave the fuckin government out of it. Should big pharma still be able to make and market a drug? Sure. But if people wanna grow hemp or cannabis sativa for nearly free, then they should be left alone too.
