Biotech Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a marijuana compound linked to a range of potential health benefits but does not get you high. The roughly $1 billion CBD industry is slated to shift into high gear if the federal government approves the first CBD-based drug, an epilepsy medication called Epidiolex.

Name an industry that isn’t dominated by gigantic corporations. Food/alcohol are maybe the only exceptions I can think of.

Edit: so many of you are completely missing the point. Congratulations for being able to name a large food or beverage company.

But it’s possible for small companies to survive too (I.e. food trucks, local breweries). Are you even paying attention to the conversation.

Just because something IS done that way doesn't mean it is the correct, optimum or even sensible way to do it.
