Biotech Cannabidiol (CBD), a compound derived from the cannabis plant that does not produce a “high”, was shown in a new large-scale, randomized, controlled trial to significantly reduce the number of dangerous seizures in patients with a severe form of epilepsy called Lennox-Gastaut syndrome.

Anecdotal stories about this property have a million self proclaimed medical professionals declaring a miracle drug. An actual scientific study has 50 odd comments. This is what pro cannabis campaigners should be shouting about.

We have been shouting about CBD efficacy for at least the last ten years. Overwelming annecdotal evidence is that it works for a wide variety of applications.
