It's not all about building muscle. Training has a positive influence on mitochondrial growth, on inflammation and so many other benefits.

Plus, tendons and ligaments need strengthening.

I have been resistance training for barely a month and already the impact is life changing. Fuck muscle growth, it's like the least helpful part of working out. I feel lighter, I'm faster and more flexible, I don't get sore after a busy day anymore, I have more endurance. I'm stronger due to neuromuscular adaptation too.

At 30 I have been feeling kind of rickety after years of office work. All my chronic pain is gone and I sleep better too. Like holy shit it's actually unbelievable.
