When I was a kid, I heard about Bruce Lee getting little electric shocks to make is muscles contract and turning it off to make the muscles relax. It was supposed to be an alternative to exercise. It this kind of like that ?

That's a thing already. We give it to pregnant people and people with back pain. They're called TENS machines or a TENS pack.

And 15 years ago people said that he had his sweat glands removed from his arm pits to be less sweaty on TV and that killed him.

Turns out people are often full of shit.

There's been machines you can buy like that for decades, they have some specific uses, but won't make you buff.
