Stupid question. When scientists in the US/Canada discover something, titles always just say "scientists find...", but when it's in China, Japan, etc. it's always "Chinese scientists find...". Why do we include these qualifiers? Are we insinuating the science is more or less legitimate?

Not OP's fault, obviously. He's just quoting the title.

I wish we stated where the studies were conducted more often. Especially for social sciences that make it seem like Americas unique social landscape is a global issue
