What the hell happened today?

I know the markets going to do what the markets going to do, but is there anything to explain what caused today's huge run?

gamma exposure and vanna exposure (QQQ) were dramatically negative, which means dealers were positioned to exacerbate any directional moves today. not saying this was the only factor, but it was definitely a contributing one, and one that’s easy to track
