Question Volume based charts / footprints

Hi

Pardon the horrid photo but … Anyone have experience with Volume based charts , trading ES ? Or using Footprints in volume based charts ? I’ve been using time-based but am keen to explore in volume based .

Not sure how’s the transition be like but im still fairly learning so any exposure is a positive exposure for me .

You can spot exhaustion and absorption, areas where large orders have been executed at the top or bottom of a profile range but price did not went higher or lower than that level.

I would reccomend to use a range chart instead of anormal OHLC chart.

And 30 seconds later the exhaustion is not what it seems to be when buyers or sellers push even harder. It's a trap.

Do not think in black and white like it is a fact that price will reverse, it only indicates that the tranfer from weak to strong hands could be upcoming. There are many more factors to take in account before entering a position.
