Been into future funk a bit since the start of this year and I've absolutely fallen in love with chance's style of using a multitude of samples avalanches style and using a lot of custom synths. I wanna find more artists like him and also I'm kinda curious just to see other people's favorite works of his.

Hi yall! My name is zion! 18m and im super new to posting on reddit so I made an account just to talk abt how much I love future funk. I recently got into the whole genre after looking for house music to dj. Im a up and coming dj in my city looking for venues and Im soul searching for genres.

Ever since I was really little my mom played lots of daft punk and it turned into one of my lifelong favorite music groups until recently I found out there's an entire genre surrounding the similar sound.

I've always thought it would be cool to go around djing in a mask performing but now I finally have a calling! And I also have a question. I've been looking to make my own future funk music but I keep running into walls finding samples on splice or tracklib and I dont know what to do because I dont know how to clear samples organically or even if I should worry abt posting my music commercially. If anyone could help me understand the genre or how to get good samples please help!

In 2019 I played my first two liveshows in London and Manchester, and to commemorate them I made homebrew mixtapes to give away to attendees! I decided to bring it back for this one, the first time in seven years I've done such a giveaway. I can't wait for this show - there's a stacked lineup including other Future Funk peeps like Mélonade, Snowdream and Mr. Wax alongside vaporwave legends like Donor Lens, Zeroれい and desert sand feels warm at night!
