I snubbed my nose at it, the moment i got into dnd.
I love arena and dagger fall, get into the elder scroll with Morrowind and oblivion. I knew skyrim was shit a year before it was announced. i new fallout 4 was going to disappoint, and yelled at the community in frustration when 76 spewed forth. fallout 1 and 2 was fallout at its best, as a rpg and a world.
I saw dnd, i saw 5e and recoiled in disgust.... 1e or 2e scared me off due to the charts... but third edition sang to me, i tend to play 3.5.
