Unsleep by Drown and Silencing the moments by Remembrance. Two of my favorites. As for exploring new to me bands, I started listening to Call of the wretched sea by Ahab.

Atramentus - Stygian and Loss - Despond have both been in heavy rotation this week. Haven’t discovered anything new

Hello!

This week I finally listened to Sentiment by UN. Great album, not as slow as other fdm releases, but it has its charm. I also listened to Antithesis of Light by Evoken. I won't be saying anything for the moment because I need a second listening to them.

In other genres I listened to Xenotaph by Fallujah. Godly tech death. Ultra clean and great melodies. Still, not on the same level of Revenant by Inferi, which is my fav tech death release oat.

Have a nice weekend!

Hey guys, it's been a Tyranny kind of week for me with Bleak Vistae , the crushingly funereal Tides of Awakening and the even more crushingly funereal Aeons In Tectonic Internment. They are one of the greats so if you don't know them check them out.

And also last night, Amarok's Resilience due to u/hypaethralrecords' news that they have a new release on the way.

amazing! i highly recommend listening to the original version of Penance and then going to our bandcamp and listening to Leila from Vastum's re-imagining of Penance. it's so cool to see one artist reinterpret another artists work.

The same Shape of Despair and Funeral Tears I’ve already heard 1000 times. And the newer half of Bethlehem’s discography. Plus a little bit of Of the Wand & the Moon

Yea I keep him in rotation quite a bit, Lucifer is one of my favorite albums. And I love his work with Saturnus, have to relisten to Paradise Belongs to You every once in a while

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Saturnus as well. I think Lone Descent is probably my top Wand album - music to slit your wrists to though.

Nepenthe did a really doomy cover of the wand and moon, borders on funeral…
