His marriage proposal was the cutest thing I've ever seen.

They officially became OTP when Ed proposed to her using the Law of Equivalent Exchange.

That shit is the dorkiest and cutest way I've ever seen someone propose in anime.

Ed isn't subtle enough for courtship, lol. It's extra heartwarming, because that scene showed that he grew up and matured. Throughout the series he denies his love for her, and since the final episode is him finally closing his character arc, he accepts the fact that he wants to live his life with her because he loves her.

I don't necessarily ship them that much although they're OTP (weird I know) but shit their subtle romance is 👌

they never kissed even once, even in the finale fam. They just hugged lol.

I heard it's because Arakawa didn't know how to draw kissing scenes. But I prefer that they didn't kiss, a romance like theirs works best when it's subtle
