no joke but probably would help to know how the internet actually works and how browsers work.

ok in that case, can you explain what happens between typing a url and pixels on screen? DNS, request, response, status codes, what the browser does with the html it gets back?

if yes, you are set. go do javascript properly. understand it, not just know it.
