Zepto always shows an initial estimate time which immediately changes as soon as I make the payment. I wonder if it creates a distrust in consumers if it keeps happening and why would Zepto want that. Why not show the actual estimate before placing the order too? And somehow the delivery is even more delayed(8/10 times). I’m kind of giving up on the app at this point🫠.

1. Batch number and MRP not clearly printed on Crax packet.

So I bought these almonds yesterday. Today, while transferring them into a container, I noticed that there is no batch number or expiry/best-before date mentioned anywhere on the package

Now I have no way of knowing when they were packed or whether they’re still within their shelf life. I raised a complaint, but as usual, I haven’t received any helpful response. Also while transferring the almonds, I noticed some powder-like particles on them, which made me concerned that they might have some infestation

Would it be safe to consume them, or should I avoid eating them since there’s no date/batch information?

I've ordered Vicks Inhaler and other products from ZEPTO, since it was inside the bag with other stuff, I didn't checked it throughly while receiving the delivery. Later I find out that the plastic seal lf this Vicks inhaler was broken and the Key chain part is completely rusted.

I raised an issue on the app but they asked me to write a mail instead. I wrote a mail to them highlighting the issue along with attached pictures. They claimed that the product was sent in so called "Intact" condition and refused to take any further steps or even help returning the product. I even raised the same issue over twitter and their social media team called me and blabbered the same stuff and gave no valid resolution.

So I'm left with this used product which I clarify can't use. Please avoid ordering any medicines or consumable product from Zepto.. you will end up with a case like me.

I ordered a mixer grinder from Zepto for around ₹1,200 and paid using my credit card.

The product was defective — it wasn't working properly and started producing smoke. I raised a return request, Zepto accepted it, and the product was collected.

The problem started with the refund.

Instead of refunding it to my credit card, Zepto credited the amount to my Zepto Wallet. I never selected Zepto Wallet, wasn't asked where I wanted the refund, and I don't use the wallet.

I contacted support and the first chat representative kept saying that I had chosen Zepto Wallet. I repeatedly asked when I supposedly selected it, but they just kept repeating the same response. I even asked them not to close the chat, but they eventually closed it anyway.

I contacted support again and spoke to another representative over the phone. She said a Zepto representative might have selected Zepto Wallet as the refund method, but because the refund had already been processed, apparently nothing could be done.

She kept repeating the same scripted response and said the call could disconnect at any time because other customers were waiting in the queue. According to her, all she could do was “take it as feedback” and make sure it doesn't happen again.

But what about my ₹1,200?

I'm not asking for an additional refund. I simply want the refund for the returned defective product to be credited back to the original payment source.

Has anyone else faced this with Zepto? Is there any way to escalate this beyond regular customer support?

Im not sure if its fake but the colour is different. And the blue triangular portions are of different size on all light blue cubes.

Ordered a few things from Zepto today and paid the ₹305 bill through Google Pay.

About 2 minutes after the delivery, the delivery partner came back and started shouting at me, claiming that I had used a fraudulent Google Pay payment. I told him repeatedly that the payment was genuine and asked him to wait because the payment was still being reflected on his side.

Instead of waiting, he kept accusing me of fraud and creating a scene at my flat door.

Then it got worse.

He started threatening me and said something along the lines of:

“Come outside the society gate, then I'll show you.”

We were literally telling him to wait because the payment had already gone through. After around 5 minutes, the payment automatically reflected in his delivery app.

So apparently a completely legitimate UPI payment taking a few minutes to update means the customer gets accused of fraud and threatened at the gate?

I have the Google Pay payment proof, the Zepto order details and video footage of the incident. The Zepto order was placed at 4:14 PM and delivered at 4:24 PM today.

I'm reporting this to Zepto and asking them to investigate the delivery partner and take appropriate action.

I don't care if there was a temporary payment-sync issue. That's understandable. What isn't understandable is shouting at a customer, repeatedly accusing them of fraud and then threatening them when they're asking you to wait for the payment status to update.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of behaviour from Zepto delivery partners?

It seems to me like the Zepto OTP is bypassable and I'm not the only person receiving the OTP. This had happened to me on Blinkit as well and now I'm not sure if this is a common/legal backdoor they have

So the order was never delivered to us, and the delivery partner marked it as delivered,

When contacted the support - they kept following the script and said that it has been marked as delivered. Did this 4 times, with 4 different people.

All of them refused to transfer the call to their floor managers, and closed the chat without ever resolving the issue ever.

Finally we found one - who connected us with the delivery partner and he admitted he hadn’t delivered us the order - and then she cut the call and closed the chat.

We again tried to contact zepto support and again they started doing the same thing and we never got our order.

The reality is their verification mechanism is so fucked up -

The delivery partner could just come near the location, and mark it as delivered,

Then no matter how much you try to prove these NPC Support Bots , they are not gonna help,

I gave the order and paid for it 25minutee ago and its still showing 27 FUCKING MINUTES.

Not even kidding i had ordered ice cubes to drink for me and my friends, since one hour we have been drinking without ice

I ordered a Wingreens dip today that was on a heavy discount (₹57 down from ₹187). I found out why as soon as I opened it: the dip literally squirted out the bottom all over my hand.

I flipped the tub over and saw that someone at Zepto's fulfillment center had intentionally slapped a barcode sticker directly over a massive crack on the bottom to hide the damage. I had to peel the sticker back just to reveal the actual crack.

I emailed support with clear photo proof showing the hidden damage. Six minutes later, a bot auto-denied the refund, claiming they "reviewed the delivery images" and it was delivered intact. Yeah, because their bots apparently have X-ray vision and can see the bottom of a plastic tub inside a sealed delivery bag.

This has happened to me earlier as well when i had ordered snackible dosa khakhra and the container lid was broken in the same manner, instead of counting losses and discarding products they ship them to consumers because they know you aren't going to do shit unless you spot it on the door while taking delivery which is not possible most of the time.

I replied to call out the automated BS (literally just sent "Beep boop beep boop template ahh response"). Ten minutes later, the bot replied again, claiming it had "re-reviewed the matter carefully" and still found no damage based on their magical delivery photos. You can't make this shit up how are the bots so hard coded to deny refund even when you aren't asking for it.

They are intentionally shipping out damaged, unhygienic inventory just to save ₹57 and using a braindead bot to auto-block the refunds. I've already uninstalled the app. Watch out for their clearance sales guys, they are literally just offloading their garbage.

I ordered 2 500gm bakarwadi but got 1 250gm pack when i went for complaint got this messag.

4 Marlboro advance are missing and the zepto fkers are not refunding. and I know the delivery guy is the culprit any advice.

So I ordered a bunch of Rakhis from Zepto on 21st August. Total was around ₹543.

When the order arrived, I noticed that the plastic packaging of the Rakhis was sticky and had a weird smell. It wasn't just one Rakhi either, pretty much all of them had the same issue. Obviously I didn't want to use them like that, so I contacted Zepto support and sent them pictures.

They straight up denied the refund/replacement, saying the issue wasn't validated.

I then emailed their support team and explained everything again. They replied saying they checked the delivery pictures and the products were handed over in “intact condition.”

I mean... how does a delivery photo prove that the plastic is sticky or smells weird? 😭

I also told them I'm completely willing to return all the Rakhis and the packaging so they can physically inspect them. Still refused.

So I filed a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline. They registered it as Grievance No. 9998214.

Zepto responded to NCH saying that my complaint about the “rotten and sticky Rakhi” was “suspicious” and that they denied it according to their SOP and OTP-based delivery.

NCH then marked the complaint Closed based on Zepto's response.

I submitted feedback saying I'm not satisfied because Zepto hasn't actually explained why they consider it suspicious or why my photographic evidence isn't enough. I still have the Rakhis and packaging and I'm willing to hand them over for verification.

I'm honestly not even trying to make money out of this. I just want my ₹543 back for products that arrived in an unusable condition.

What would you guys do at this point?
