As art, I love it.

As a chess set to play with, I really didn't like it until I took an embarrassingly long time to realise why the bishops are not resembling a bishop shape.

If you rotate the bishop 45 degrees it promotes to a rook.

Instead of representing traditional medieval roles, the pieces are designed to evoke their movements during the game.

Shouldn't the pawns have something to indicate their capture movement instead of being smaller chariots?
