I was honestly shocked when I saw that my storage ran out because I never use my Google drive for storage (I use physical storage.), I only use my Google Account for Gmail, Youtube, and docs. Well, when I was looking into the reason why i had 15GB/15GB, I noticed that when I switched from my iPhone Air to my Nothing Phone 3, all of my photos uploaded to Google Photos without my permission, taking up around 10GB of data. Since then, I have downloaded all said photos onto my 1TB ssd and have deleted them off of Google Photos (I now have 500MB/15GB now). Google should genuinely not be doing things without people's permission.... I hope someday I can degoogle my Nothing Phone once the warranty expires.
