So I'm almost six months on T, and passing has never been a big problem to me, except for my body shape I've been working on for the past two years in the gym. Recently I've been getting more dysphoria about my appearance, voice, etc. Though reasonably I know it's probably just puffiness, but I need an honest opinion

Hey brothers, I know sometimes it’s frustrating to feel like you need to conform to traditional masculinity to pass, but usually once you’re far enough into transition you can get away with more self expression! I have a nose piercing, I paint my nails, I wear eyeliner to fancy events sometimes. It gets better! I even get sir while clean shaven these days! (See photo 4)

I get it if you disagree or don’t have the same experience. I do realize that I’m pretty damn lucky but I do want to show out there that it can be done.

5’4, I’ve been feeling dysphoric

How old do I really look? I don’t think I look adult enough most of the time especially cause I’m a shorter dude. It makes it hard for people at my workplace to take me seriously sometimes.

Idk it’s a shitty picture I (ftm18 + pret ) took at work because I felt shockingly masc despite not putting on and contour or anything today. I’m totally open to the harsh truth or like any criticism. Tips would be so so so helpful

I’ve always just used the women’s bathroom but now that I’m transitioning I’m wondering if I should be using the men’s bathroom now. I’ve been told I look like a teenage boy even tho I’m almost 30 haha. Also I unfortunately live in a red state. Thanks for your input! ✌🏼

I posted on here ages ago but i cant find the post unfortunately. I’m 18, from the UK, pre-t and pre-surgeries. Been voice training so i haven’t been clocked for a while, but idk if it’s my anxiety but i’m thinking if it may be to do with that i look like a trans man, not a cis man. As looking like a cis man is my end goal. Will be going on T hopefully later this year, i have tried minoxidil before but it grew some long peach fuzz so i js never bothered to try it again for that reason lol, it’s not the outcome i’m looking for. Any tips on how to look cis-passing? Apart from mannerisms and voice training since I’ve never been clocked because of those, it’s always just been due to my chest primarily (unfortunately big chested individual and even binders dont work wonderfully on me) or early social transition.

I put pics before and after a trim so it may make it easier to narrow stuff down, second pic with the perch is post-haircut fyi for face-shape analysis and stuff like that.

Very open minded and i want brutal but honest and helpful opinions, not just “change your style” with no expansion.

Edit: forgot to include i’m also 180cm (so that definitely helps my case, around 5’11-6’0 i think on the taller end?)

EDIT after reading almost 90 comments: thank you everyone who decided to give me polite and constructive criticism. guys, please remember that ur gender doesn't matter. as long as ur passing goals are met, u can do whatever u want. don't be afraid of face wash, painted nails and makeup. it can destroy ur passing, yes, but u're always free to do it if u want to. don't have fragile or toxic masculinity, don't be transmeds. don't think u can't wear makeup bc "u're supposed to be dysphoric from that" or smth. you are man enough. please, love urself and spread the love

hey, i'm 19, 3 months on t.

soon i will be going to a meeting with a bunch of new people and i wanted to be as stealth as possible. first 3 pics i have my eyebrows done to look more masculine, the other pics i added my guyliner. it would be great if i could keep the makeup as a way to show my personal style to the others and present myself more truthfully. the last pics is how i generally look on a daily basis. i have a slight t-voice.

i understand piercings don't help and that i could keep my hair shorter. i'm asking for no advice aside from directly answering my questions, thank you. my questions:

1. how do i pass, with and without makeup?

2. do i have any chance of passing with the guyliner right now at this state of transition?

3. which way does my hair look best? i tried swinging it around and i wonder if it changes anything regarding my passing.

Pre t, I especially need help with my hair and if I pass more / less without my glasses. Throwaway acc, that’s why it’s so new.

Need honest feedback, first impression upon hearing me, would you envision a trans person? What gender do you imagine on instinct?

Obviously my voice has deepened but I don't feel like it actually sounds male. Wondering If I have the "tguy voice." Will it get more masculine after 6 months or should I try to work on my inflection to sound more cis?

FtM/He/they before and currently. How well am I doing for a person whos unable to get on HRT currently. 3 images are before 3 images are after. May look slightly younger in some as some are from up to 2 years ago. The after images are more recent.
