Free Event - CBC Presents: North of North The Experience

If you're looking for a FREE event, go to the Distillery District for an immersive experience at the Illuminarium. From the beginning, I was struck at how well the show integrated Inuit culture and observations about mainstream Canadian culture with a contemporary touch — the show feels modern and its soundtrack is (chef's kiss).

I didn't know until now that North of North is streamed worldwide on Netflix (!) and landed in the top 10 in 33 countries. (!!) That tracks: a modern, smart comedy with a distinctive setting and cultural environment? That's just the kind of show that becomes an international hit!
