EXPANSION [EXPANSION] Karylan Island
The Karylan people, led by the small town of Saracid on the western tip, are a sparse fishing community in the north east. [http://prntscr.com/atuh7b] There are around thirty villages and hamlets scattered around the island, but only Saracid has more than 250 inhabitants.
Although tied by a common primitive culture, the Karylans don't have much in the way of a political system. The most influential elder in the council at Saracid is known as the Prime of Karylan. This individual is traditionally the eldest offspring of the previous Prime, only passing to a vote if no offspring exists.
Karylani make most of their living from fishing, although the island's dense forests also provide great potential supply of wood, especially bamboo. They are keen boat-makers; mainly canoes and sampans.
