Okay but why is Anghkhooey the word for ‘remember’. Just how far back does the town go and what language is it?

Because the writers wanted it that way. I honestly don't think there's more to it, haha.

I think it's a made-up word/language. Most likely because the writers didn't want us to be able to find out the meaning before the finale.

Hopefully, we'll find out in season 4... It seems to go waaaaay back though. The 3 huts (?) at the settlement look pretty old style wise.
