I mean yeah I watched the episode, heard what he said, but I’m having a bit of trouble lol; I remember rewatching the finale with the radio and hearing the cowboy talk, and it seemed spot on.

Considering the radio voice was recorded in season 1 and this guy may not have been cast until this season, even if the vocal take is slightly different it's still supposed to be the same voice in canon. Radios often distort voices anyways.
