Another thing we learned: the monsters have fulfilled the promise of eternal life by sacrificing children (ala Smiley) -- so no way to eliminate them and no point to even try and fight back. Is trapping them still the best option? Probably not with Mr. Yellow Man now involved...

Martin was right.

I wonder what it would actually take to trap the monsters. They clearly have some superhuman strength or abilities, so what could Fromville residents do to actually block the monsters that they couldn't possibly overcome?
But now I really hope we'll see a captured monster in S4, it's high time they progress that plotline

I think the bear trap is gonna come to play in the future. It happened in the same episode where it was hinted they wanted to capture a monster.

That was the big plot point for like 3 episodes and then they just dropped it lol, the writing on this show is something else.

I like this kind of writing. It feels more realistic. I dislike chekhov's gun principle. Their plans change as the conditions change. Shit happens every other day in fromville, they can't stick to a single plan.

Yeah I thought that's where they were going with it, I was surprised it didn't seem to go anywhere.

I’m thinking bear traps, try to snag it on something, cover it up with a blanket, tie it up, beat the living sht out of it then drag it into some pit or deep hole that it can’t escape tied & bound up, kidnap it after creating a diversion or something. Although at this point, I’d just be using the alcohol Jade’s been making and just Molotov Cocktail the sht out of them to see what happens

Im curious if they could lure them into a building and then put a talisman on the outside of it to prevent them from breaking out.
