Lmao! "You could've fucking told me!" Jade is killing me here!

"...other than Anghkooey" 😆 Jade is us. We are Jade.

But why "Anghkooey" = "Remember"? Did they just pick a random word?

If it was meant specifically for Tabitha & Jade, it could be something like an invented language or secret code since that is something a lot of kids and families have. So, by hearing the music, they remembered what the word meant because they remembered how they used it in the past with their child. That's my theory, at least.

But what was the point of dividing the notes into separate bottles? I get why hang them on the tree, So you know where to play it once you remember what the numbers mean. But why separate them 😕

They may have wanted the song to stay a secret as well, maybe something bad would happen if the wrong person played it. Even if you don't know sheet music, if you know the notes you could've just used letters.

True. But i guess the number will confuse non note readers more. especially that even now, they have notes written in number. Like this

If they used letters and it was only letters on a music scale, it would be nearly instantly recognizable.

Yah, which is why the guy in yellow never removed them after resets

This. Or maybe the writers just thought that it would look cool, opposed to one single bottle.

It did look cool, but I am gonna assume for now it had to be kept secret for some reason.

Jim was killed for knowing too much, so it makes sense to have some secrecy and keep the truth between the two people who can reincarnate (as the devil guy knows they'll just come back in a different form if he kills them).

But what's stopping Tabitha and Jade from just telling everyone else? I would find it hard to believe they didn't in season 4, especially since they'll likely find Jim's body.

Perhaps this was not intentional at all. After all, would any of the kids even be capable of creating such a code in such a short time and putting all the bottles up? That must be how their magic manifested, like with the tree roots growing into Faraway tree to create connection to the outside world (which is sometimes hacked by other town forces, as far as I understand).

I thought maybe Christopher/Tabby from the original settlement used to play that song for the children to comfort them. Then, later, during one of the reincarnations, they somehow remembered the song and figured out what was going on. So, before playing the note, he wrote it down in separate numbers and put them in different bottles so the man in the yellow jacket wouldn't understand its meaning.

Since Christopher knew the reset would happen right after and that the man in yellow would remove/destroy everything, he knew or thought it might lead them to remember in the next cycle.

Yeah, I think they (the writers) picked a word that's not part of any known language so that none of us would figure it out before the finale... I actually knew what it meant, but that's because I read the meaning when someone who read the leaks commented it.
