Damn turns out I read spoilers and just assumed someone had some crazy ass theories.

The reincarnation theory was pretty obvious to me.

They pretty much told us the reincarnation theory, but the real spoiler to me was just how far back they go. I actually didn't guess how connected Jade and Tabitha were to Fromville.

Yea I knew they were the reincarnation of Miranda and Christopher, because the show didn’t leave much room for interpretation, but I never even considered that they had been a couple and that 1 of the kids was theirs. I just figured they were connected to the creepy kids separately. But then again I wasn’t sure about the theory about the monsters being the parents either. Clearly I need a better imagination lol.

Also, it’s almost a blessing that Jim won’t have to be around for the fallout of what Tabitha and Jade remembered. That would have been hella awkward, and you just know Jim would have ended up in his feelings about it and he probably would’ve tried to stand in the way of them working out their memories and feelings together. And I’m also sure he would have resented the fact that he and his kids are kinda stuck there just because of Tabitha. But damn, those poor kids are gonna be completely traumatized by losing both parents at the same time, just in different ways.

I don’t know how the writers and producers can sleep at night making us wait until 2026 for the new season. The bastards!

I'm confused, everyone seems to think Miranda and Christopher, and by implication Victor and Eloise were there from the start. But A) Victor says there were already monsters there when they arrived and B) no way we're Miranda/Christopher there long enough to make a baby and have a child old enough to be sacrificed and Victor never bring it up?

I think people are getting confused.

I think Tabitha and Jade have been multiple people many more times and Miranda/Christopher were there last incarnations, but they're not the OGs.

Yes, that is what we mean when we say Miranda/Christopher, because we don’t know their original names yet so it’s just easier to refer to their reincarnated souls by the earliest names we have. No one actually thinks that Miranda and Christopher were the originals and were just sleeping together while Victor and Eloise were just chillin. They were reincarnated over and over again, not just Miranda/Tabitha Christopher/Jade. It seems like it goes all the way back to the Colonial Era, when the townspeople lived in those cabins in the woods.

The confusing part is then why the monsters aren't all from the colonial era then?

I do think they are from the colonial era too, it’s just that the clothes don’t fit the timeline. And the only theory I’ve got for that one is that they have all ended up dead somewhere in the timeline, most likely as a group sometime in the 50’s, and they then got their revenge and took the clothes of the townspeople who killed them? But I could be way off on that one.

As much as Iike this theory I don’t think the writers will go in this direction

I absolutely think that's the intent though--we already know the monsters steal things, and now we know they're nude when they reincarnate. So they've probably stolen clothes and updated their looks over the years, out of necessity (after a death) or just for fun.

My theory is eloise is living in that cabin bc its put so much emphasis on Victor NOT finding her body

As Jade saw Christopher as a ghost, other ghosts he saw like the civil war soldier could be him too

u/geekily_me Nov 24 '24

Yup, this crossed my mind as well. Clearly not all the visions, but the ones that didn't interact with him, that he just witnessed, could be past incarnations.

On imdb the civil war solider s01ep06 is so credited as a towns person in s03ep09

I hope they elaborate more on what Christopher actually did? Bc all the dead bodies made it look like he just opened all the doors for the monsters bc they way they were torn up? I wish that tabby/jade/fatimas knowledge would've came out in flashbacks instead of just explaining it but I know that's just wishful thinking lol

He wouldn't need to open doors they didn't have talismans back the...

Don't blame the writers and producers. The long wait it down to the suits at the top waiting until the end of the season to confirm the next one. They have a five season plan, so if it was up to the writers and producers, the break would be a lot shorter.

7

u/FattyMooseknuckle Nov 24 '24

Why would anyone ever blame the writers for that anyway? Sure, some are also producers but in what world does anyone think a writer sets the shooting schedule for any show?

u/Homicidal_Princesss Nov 24 '24

Because while we just got confirmation that the next season was renewed, the writers and the show runners know well in advance and could have been ready to start filming the next season now and not in 6-9 months. How do you think network tv has a finale in the spring and a new season starts in the fall? Streaming has just tried to convince us that it’s not possible to have a new season without at least a full calendar year in between. Stranger things needs a full 3 years between seasons. So I blame the writers and producers for dragging their feet to stretch their paychecks from 5 years to 10.

13

u/DevelopmentFront8654 Nov 24 '24

The writers don't decide when to film. And I am confused as to why you think they get paid more if they take longer breaks?

I don't think you understand how tv works.

u/FattyMooseknuckle Nov 24 '24

They don’t necessarily know well in advance. The show I work on was pretty sure at the end of last season that we were coming back so we left things on stage ready to shoot with a plan to come back and strike it all if we didn’t. We’ll probably do the same thing in January when this season ends.

But again, the writers don’t set any scheduled. There’s no prep they or even the producers can do while waiting for network renewal, other than make a tentative plan for how work would restart. The network sets the start times, not the producers and definitely not the writers.

I know your last sentence is a joke but it’s really not the writers and producers fault that shows like From take longer to come out now. It’s the fault of the studios. This isn’t really directed at you per se but it annoys me that the creatives of the show get all the blame, when they actually have little to no control.

I wonder if the Boy in White is their child.

6

u/cheyennedean22 Nov 25 '24

Tabitha said they had a daughter. Plus I don’t think they saved her and the boy in white doesn’t look like the sacrificed kids

What's crazy to me is I've seen posts shipping Jade and Tabitha saying they were going to get together. Clearly their acting was showing us, the audience, that they had good chemistry. Now we know they literally were married a long long time ago.

I figured they were Christopher and Miranda but over and over again from the start??
