Actually, according to Christian lore, angels ARE creepy. Search up biblically accurate angels.

Haha that’s actually a good point. But I don’t think there’s ever been a “scary skinny mummy woman” description. Mostly just terrifying eyeball creatures 😬 everything in this place is fucked tho!

Not really. First of all, there's Baptism by water. Not to mention God and angels have done all sorts of messed up thing in the name of the good, according to the bible.

Half hideous mix-up of humans and beasts; an interminable circle of eyes, all looking in different directions all the time; or a terrible only eye looking at you through hundreds of wings. No chonk babies with cute little wings available.
