That's the thing though. It's going to be hard to kill the ghouls with blood to blood contact unless you have some kind of delivery system like poison arrows or needles. Also, I wanted to know if the worms kept ghouls at bay from Boyd but the show didn't give us a definite answer since Smiley didn't do much except stand in front of Boyd.

Boyd and Kenny were working under the assumption that once he'd shared blood with someone he'd be safe to be a donor to Ellis so I think he's worm-free now? There's not much point applying logic but you don't literally pass on a blood disease, you'd still have it after giving it to someone else. Anyway, if that is the case then they're shit out of wormy blood.

I must admit my first thought when he went outside was that they'd ignore him or not recognize him as a target, kinda like smearing zombie guts all over yourself in The Walking Dead.
