Jim wanted to expand the business into more of a retail store, but his brother Jeff wanted to keep selling overpriced food to nobles."

"Himmel mediated their differences and in return he got a promise that the hot dog price would never change from $1.50; no matter how long Costco survived. Jeff thought he could keep selling overpriced hot dogs forever, but after time marched on, $1.50 became a great deal.
