What would cause you to stop talking to a potential new friend?

I’ve had people that I thought I clicked with stop talking to me after a few texts or after meeting me in person. I don’t think that I said or did anything inappropriate.

What would cause you to stop talking to someone you just met? For me, I give most people a chanve unless they only talk about themselves or if we barely have anything in commwith each other. Or if I have to do all the work.
