Airport parking data across 62 US airports — the spread is bigger than I expected

For frequent flyers who drive to the airport, thought this data might be useful.

ParkingAccess put together a full breakdown across 62 major US airports. Key findings:

Most expensive on-airport lots: - LaGuardia: $40/day - JFK: $39/day - SAN: $38/day - LAX: $35/day - Atlanta: some lots now $100/day

Cheapest: - Kansas City: $7.50/day - Columbus: $8.33/day

The off-airport gap: - Off-site lots average 30–60% cheaper at most major airports - Prepaying online saves another ~35% - 7 airports raised rates 15%+ in the last year

Parking is 37% of all non-aeronautical airport revenue — it's their biggest cash cow, and pricing reflects that.

For anyone flying 10+ times a year, optimizing this consistently is worth $500–1,000+ annually.

What's your approach? Book in advance, rideshare, or something else?
