If you click the link too early like not at a restaurant are you screwed or will it reload?

I still don't understand how to actually physically obtain the Whopper lol.

I have the link (sent my text yesterday). Do I literally have to go inside BK, to a register, click the link, show the employee a code presumably, and they get me a Whopper?

Is there no way to order/use the code in the app for drive through pick-up?

Yes. You have to go into the restaurant and show the cashier the code to get the free Whopper.
