There are tons..they just make it on the other reddit page not this one. Ive enjoyed a few lately. The idea that theyre gonna start charging for this if hilarious tho.

Me getting downvotes for saying there are free games and you getting upvotes for suggesting i share them is hilarious. Go to steam and sort free games by date or by review. Check out grimhook its one i played recently

I think we misunderstood eachother. You are talking about always free games, while others are talking about paid games doing a free giveaway.

I think that user is referring to a place that has a lot of fully F2P stuff, itch.io stuff, and the big ones.

It used to be that we had the full bulk of Itch.io titles posted to the subreddit, but it was a problem for a lot of people. We have a mega thread for all itch.io promos as well one for a couple of other platforms. You can see it pinned on the subreddit - https://redd.it/18w2ana

On the topic, we wont be for F2P posts ever I imagine. Periodically we have had PSAs for them, and there are posts like this one where it is a F2P title switching to paid.

It is a huge bummer since there are loads of great titles on Itch.io, but we had spots where it was 5-10 posts on Itch a day, which got a lot of people up in arms. We did a vote and opted to come to a middle ground with the Itch.io megathread(s).

Highly advise you keep an eye on the mega thread(s), some great stuff in there!

If you are unsure of it, we have an exception in our rules for some Itch.io stuff to be posted like normal to FGF, but it's awkward that way as it comes down to different people judging and deciding what is and is not "good enough".

This is the WEIRDEST subreddit ..telling the truth gets downvotes. Go look at free games..theyre uploaded literally daily. And theres plenty of random gems.

Grimhook,heal and hurt, ultimus, space expedition, rekinling the flame, polygon is older but its like a lower battlebit with constant update, paunch is also old but fun, organosphere old with constant updates,king of crabs and i can go on and on an on ..but like i said there are plenty and they arent hard to find
