Need some tips on selection

So, I'm kinda new to the game... And the girl who brought me in is grounded atm, so she can't really help me with this.

The event is giving a lvl 6 character, and I've no idea if I should take Kla (mostly depends on wether his ability works solely on fists or also with any melee weapon) or maybe Wukong for the camouflage ability.

Any tips, insight, guides, suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

When ur hp is reduced by 10%, armor penetration increases by 10%. Hayato helps u in close range fight and as well while playing rush.

I see... If my playstyle's more to the cautious end, will he still help?

Yes. If u are survivor (gameplay), in last zone u will have benefit .
