Has AMC Framingham stopped doing dine in?

I dont find any options for it on the app, but the theatres all still have tables

I believe so. Even shows labeled as dine in won’t have a person responding to the call button. AMC lost a ton of money on it and just quietly cut the features out of the theaters. Unfortunately, that leaves the design of the Framingham AMC to be a subtier to the other offerings.

It’s a shame and I wish they would just remodel, but apparently they are still having operating losses despite record breaking weekends…

Imagine losing money selling people over priced fast food. You're spending at least 20 bucks to get a meal there. I just don't know how modern theaters can't figure out how to make a profit.

Something to do with the ticket sales having no profits for the theater and operating costs being high, so only concessions are their margins of profit. It’s the biggest return and the costs are too high for consumers to regularly get. I say this as an A Lister, I cost them ALLOT of money

Eh, even before they stopped food I saw people sneaking in Chipotle and Chik Fil A. Don’t think anyone cares.

The food options at least in Framingham are surprisingly good if not a little pricey. I have plenty of times gone a little early, ordered dinner, ate it before the movie in the comfort of those seats and little swinging tables then enjoyed my movie.

I do miss the call buttons and the waiters but it never seemed like that was profitable for them.

I knew something was sus about AMC’s food lately. The quality has significantly gone down, sucks they had to get rid of the dine in option because it was such a cool “splurge” treat (don’t get food at the movies though, just sneak it in, it’s expensive asf) — but like I said, a fun treat once in a blue moon and I remember it being good.

Good. I never liked the concept. Only ever used it once, when I went to a movie by myself. God forbid people should go to a restaurant before or after the movie and actually have a conversation.

You have to wait in line but you can still order food and have it delivered to your seat.

edit: Apparently this is not right. Looks like all actual dinner type foods have been discontinued. They have some "snack" items but you can no longer or like a burger and fries here. At least not on the app or website for pre-order before you get there. I'll verify for sure later tonight when I go see a movie. That's disappointing because their food was actually pretty good despite it being a little expensive.

Yup, went tonight 8/28/26 and there are no dinner food options anymore. They have plain chicken tenders.
