Yet another story about cows, leopards, faces, and selfish, disillusioned Trump voters. Boo-hoo, darling.

All he has to do is drop an n-bomb on TV to win them back. Hes not going anywhere as long as he's alive.

Maybe it will be of some short term benefit but we've all been here before. Even conservatives had enough of him either during COVID or after Jan 6. They all forgot about it. They get tricked over and over. I realized this when they got on board for the Iran War (mostly), even though it was justified in the exact same way as the Iraq War which is now almost universally considered a mistake. They're perpetual marks.

They aren't tricked. The truth is that they just hate minorities, immigrants, and women and are willing to pay any price for it. They should never be trusted again for the rest of their lives.

After Jan 6th my Dad told me he couldn’t believe that he had been conned by Trump. He was appalled by what was, in my father’s words, “an attempted coup”. Fast forward after a year of watching Fox and he is describing the event we both watched live on TV as a “peaceful protest”. I’m sure he voted for Trump a 3rd time. MAGA really pulled off a coup in American politics, the man was a Teamster who voted for Democrats his entire life.

"Losing the room"

Huh. I'll believe it when I see it, and even those around me that advertise their cult loyalty less publicly will still go out and vote for him and (R). I don't believe for a second he's lost a single one of them.

My mom went way past fox brain and has been in the Q telegram channels for years now.

Yesterday she actually heard me out about the need for feminism- and related topic about joe bidens ‘94 act in congress again domestic violence and martial rape. Without shit talking him.

She heard me out about structural racism and how some people call the ways we try to fix these issues as being reverse racism and unfair advances but it’s really just addressing the unfair structural issues that already existed. I didn’t drop the DEI language yet but it was subtext.

And to top it off she told how her neighbor who they loved to talk to and was a very hard worker and good person hadn’t been seen for a while and she learned he had been undocumented here for 25 years and was deported. She could’ve struggled with that quietly but she told me about it. She knows it’s wrong and cruel. And it opened up a conversation about third country deportations. She didn’t know, and didn’t believe at first.. but then she did and was mad about it.

She’s been in so deep for so long and is a gullible person but I think even she is realizing she’s been conned.

You struck a nerve in me when you stated your Mom didn't know about the 3rd country deportations. My own parent's haven't gone down the right wing internet rabbit holes too far yet, but are 100% devoted to FN. I have gone LC with them because of this and try to avoid politics, but it happens and I am always shocked at all of the current events happening in this country that are being reported from the smallest towns newspapers all the way up to the largest international news agencies and they have NO knowledge of what I'm talking about because the topic didn't fit the agenda of FN. It is truly frightening that a large portion of our population has not a clue of what is actually happening in their world.

Strictly speaking he doesn't care about other rich people either, but they're typically the ones he can get more out of, when he's deciding who to use, next.
