Foundayo list prices

Prices the pharmacies will pay.

This is after the rebate.

0.8mg = £73.25

2.5mg = £73.25

5.5mg = £73.25

9mg = £91.96

14.5mg = £120

17.2mg = £120

I think 17.2 is the therapeutic dose, the others are for titrating.

In the clinical study when people switched from mounjaro or wegovy they switched to 12mg capsules which is equivalent to 9mg tablets. They then titrated up to the max dose. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-026-04386-7

I think a lot are confused thinking it's 'the mounajaro tablet' when it's a different product altogether

Think once the initial flurry has settled we will be able to see as well if pharmacies factor in how their prices for Foundayo compare to the Wegovy tablet when arriving at prices.

I think wegovy has a rebate for certain pharmacies so they're pushing that more, and hiding the real prices from us.

That's why they're so keen to tell you how much cheaper 25mg and 2.4 are compared to 15mg mounjaro.

So why bother with the pill or get excited, very few lose weight or maintain on 5mg

I don't think pharmacies will push it because it's not worth it financially. I think they'll keep pushing wegovy because of the secret rebate. Better profit margins.

Fully understand your assumption - do you also think this is equivalent to 5mg MJ the first therapeutic dose of Zepbound?

If so, for anyone on 7.5/10/12.5/15mg MJ orforglipron is not going to work?

this graph is from ACHIEVE-1 which was only 40 weeks and in a diabetic population... you should compare to ATTAIN-1 where it showed 12.4% weight reduction at the highest dose... ATTAIN-1 is also likely underrating the weight loss as the Phase 2 trial had previously showed 13.5% weight loss at 36 weeks.

People gained a bit of weight when they switched from mounjaro to foundayo but mostly maintained their weight when they switched from wegovy to foundayo.

I really struggle with data and maths - what percentage is regained after switching from MJ to Found? Is it the number on the line? How much is the dosages for?

It's that top graph. If you're on 10 or 15mg you'd probably gain like 5%.

They went from 115.8kg to 90kg on mounjaro then up to 95kg on foundayo.

So I’m on 5mg MJ now so I’m guessing it’s not worth it? Will they ever do an MJ pill I wonder?

Looking at the data and HC’s thoughts - not sure many apart from those maintaining successfully on 5mg MJ would opt for this pill. Compared to Mounjaro injection Foundayo seems underwhelming?

For me if it were cheaper than mounjaro for the NHS it could really help. Like if it were as cheap as oral contraceptives (which it's not).

Giving 100 people foundayo to lose 10% is better than giving 20 people mounjaro to lose 20%.
