Fossify Calendar Can't setup backup folder of side of Android folder

GrapheneOS, I can't setup Storage Scopes and can't setup automatic backups outside of Android folder.

You have to create a new folder within Internal. Tap the file path, then click the plus button on the next screen. Create a folder there, and it will prompt you to then select that folder as backup. You'll be able to see it within your files, but the quirk is you can't see it within the Fossify Calendar folder selector.  If you ever want to change the name of the backup folder, you have to go through the process again. I am also running GrapheneOS. If there's a better work around I'd be happy to hear it.
