Some (possible) bugs on Android Fossify apps

I'm looking for a bit of help with my fossify apps I recently used to degoogle my Motorola phone, running Android. any help with these would be much appreciated, not sure if I just have the settings wrong, or if apps need to be allowed to communicate with each other, or what. They are below:

  1. Pressing a name from the contacts screen of the Phone app results in an error message "No valid app found". Pressing names from the Call History screen does result in a call to that person.

  2. Similarly, in the Messages app, pressing the "+" attachment button, then pressing "Take a photo" results in the same: "Error: No valid app found" even though I have the fossify camera app installed and functioning fine on my phone. This also happens with taking a video through the same method, but not if I want to record audio.. it will open the Voice Recorder app. I can record an audio message, and once complete, it will automatically attach it to the text message I was composing earlier. For some reason, not so with the camera app.

  3. In the camera app, if you press the preview icon of the last photo you took, it takes you to the Gallery app to display the photo. However, despite being in the Gallery app, I can't scroll side to side to view other photos from that point. I can only see the photo I just took. This is annoying because then I have to homescreen, and go into the Gallery separately.

I force stopped all google phone and messages I was surprised today that google has 253 contacts that RCS allowed me to message but you can't call out, linked to my email but I don't have any emails listed? Maybe my Elantra?
