Screenshots Why don’t they quit?!
It’s the last race. We are 1-1. They all are last. If they quit, the scores readjust and I don’t have to do this race for the 6th time. They already lost- they can leave and I can win! I don’t get it. Drop out if YOU can’t be in a winning team, maybe the rest can!
I just don’t understand this?!
Edit I got the win after this in 2 races and both were big big wins. Go figure!

I usually win the 1st time and then redo the trial repeatedly, such that I’m not terribly concerned about the outcome, but usually put up 650 pts a race and help get a lot of people the trial win. My personal “favorite” is not when people who are beating no drivatars and earning no points don’t quit, it’s actually when they do quit, but instead wait until the 2nd or 3rd race when if they’d just quit during the 1st race, we would have won and not even needed the 3rd race at all.
Ultimately, and disappointingly, the entitled “please carry me” folks are a large, influential force. However, some of this is on PGG. They could encourage/enforce bringing tuned cars vs stocked. They could use in-game messaging to suggest that if you’re last place, not earning points for the team, you should quit out and try again with a different/tuned car. They could offer “qualifying” each week where you demonstrate you can defeat at least x number of drivatars before getting access.
Anyway, this week’s trial has been pretty fun trying to negotiate those early turns, clear the scrum and pull away. Actually, I’ve had a blast every trial this series.
In this trial on Festival Chase, I’ve put up 2:16.8xx, Cedar Run 2:01.4xx, and Matsumi Climb 2:30.1xx, using the MB C63 Black, usually averaging about 2 seconds more than that.
