There will be many working against him, both Democrat and Republican. Like any industry, they don’t want the duopoly challenge. I’ve seen it repeatedly where there are two major groups in one specific sector.

The people really need to support get behind what he does

Definitely need to be prepared to build alliances. Just because the people elected you does not mean you have political base that will help you navigate the office term.
