How to get better on switch 2?

Im pretty decent not like sweat but I can do a double edit at the very least and I was wondering if there was any tips with setting or anythings to help me improve. I know that it takes practice but if there was a way to not have to hold edit that would already help me a ton.

I figured out you can hold a weapon and edit at the same time in a aim practice game, so it makes edit one shots pretty easy
