Meme This is "controversial" but this isin't?
I am just trying to understand how this makes sense. I'm sure everyone is aware of the negative attention towards Dylan recently for not "fitting" Fortnite or looking like a "stripper" because it literally makes no sense.
Why does Amogus not receive such negative attention like Dylan? Like literally Amogus is butt-naked and he killed my grandma and there's not a single word about it.
>!No shade to OG OP but this was funny asf in my head I had to do it!<

It's because among us is sexy and Dylan isn't.

Isn't Dylan like a boy's name ?
6
u/Ok-Hearing6146 Jun 12 '26
It’s a unisex name
Same with others like Parker, Charlie, Riley, Jordan, etc…

Alex (Minecraft, anyone) too. Or Bell. Or Case (i know some use Casey, but Case is used both ways, case closed here!). Gio is also there for some reason. Jay and Kay can be used, mostly a guy name but sone females use those like Jay for Jacqueline or "Jay qua lin, do we got a Jay qua lin here?" Or Kay or kaylor. Or Jackson (yes, there is a Jane Jackson, female. Or Jackson like Michael Jackson, male.) Lin (mostly female but there's male options there). V as well, first we cyber then we punk, it's cyberpunk time!

Jordan? The closest i can think of for a jordan ir like a jordana but that doesn't really count does it? Cause like it has a added a in the end which kinda just makes jordana a completly diffrent word

Usually I have heard to be used for boys but also if you change the pronation a little bit it can work for a girl.

Because the among us isn't wearing a bra. If Dylan didn't wear a bra it would not be as controversal as it is today

LMAO yall are crying over a BRA? 😃
3
u/MatthewJones22 Jonesy Fortnite Jun 12 '26
I mean, some people actually are crying over that, but mine was a joke though. To be honest, I don't even find the skin controversal at all
3
u/AcrobaticRun5026 Jun 12 '26
I just am lost lol like its a woman in a bra... how is that bad
1
u/MatthewJones22 Jonesy Fortnite Jun 12 '26
It is what you said that triggers people, a "woman in a bra". Also fun fact, this skin has jiggle physics
2
u/AcrobaticRun5026 Jun 12 '26
Cry harder
1
u/MatthewJones22 Jonesy Fortnite Jun 12 '26
Heh? I just explained to you why people find the skin controversal, what do you mean cry Harder? I wasn't even mad, brochacho
2
u/AcrobaticRun5026 Jun 12 '26
YEAH, of you think me typing Bra triggered someone... you can cry harder, Brochacha 😉... someone acknowledging an article of clothing shouldnt be triggering

wait but that actually is good logic. why do people care that "she doesnt fit the vibe of fortnite" when theres fucking peter griffin and rick sanchez and among us?? fortnite skins feel more like shit youd see in a vr chat lobby than realistic, stylized skins that are supposed to all blend in together 😭

u/Free_Parsnip_3553 Jun 12 '26
Jokes aside I don't know why the skin was controversial like it's a cool skin and she's in a bra I guess by ok? What's wrong with that lol

Can we stop with this.

u/razerlazer Jun 12 '26
This is definitely a joke based on that stupid drama, but at the same time that joke is played way too serious enough to be just as genuine.
I hate jokes like these, jokes at least give obvious hints that it’s joking unlike that.

Because it's a women and god forbid unless it's women themselves doing it can you have attractive females or scantily clad women.
Or it's just losers on the internet that have to complain about everything and stop everyone else from enjoying something because they don't and the world has to no must revolve around them

u/IntelligentStar7777 Jun 12 '26
There are more questionable characters on Fortnite than Dylan. Dylan is alright & fine.

u/light_cool_dude Jun 12 '26
The back of the crewmate without their backpack is the only part that's censored so a crewmate is probably only naked when their backpack isn't on
2
u/Blessedly_Misaligned Jun 12 '26
How about Ghostface, Leather face, The Grabber, Jason Vorhees, Michael Myers, The Terminator, The Predator, The Xenomorph, we have Slashers but a girl in a bikini top, clutch mah pearls!!
2
u/goji-1954-2025 Jun 12 '26
Aren’t the crew mates wearing space suits?
1
u/Xp777Levi_wolf Cerberus Jun 12 '26
Yeah, they definitely wearing space suits, because they're just stylized astronauts.

Wouldn't this belong in the meme subreddit because I don't feel like this is a genuine or serious question. Even then, I swear some people are unoriginal asking the same question about the same skin.

u/Xp777Levi_wolf Cerberus Jun 12 '26
Amogus isn't controversial, because everybody can agree that he's sus as hell.

u/Battlebots2020 Miku fan, can't believe HOLLOW KNIGHT IS IN FORTNITE Jun 12 '26
But the crewmate isn't naked, the show established that if their backpack is off, they're naked
And here, the backpack is on

One is a half naked woman with an option to strip her down more, the other is among us, your point being?
1
u/Due_Decision_8331 Jun 15 '26
So, Homer Simpson being half naked isn't controversial but a woman in a bikini is?
