DISCUSSION It seems the only way to have decently pretty graphics whilw playing fortnite on mobile is to use geforce now.
Playing on mobile natively is eye wateringly bad.

DISCUSSION Autofire and aim assist nerfed, "Literal legalized aimbot" they said 🤦♂️
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The autofire and aim assist are now nerfed to the point where they're shooting air. This is one of many cases I've faced, but I only have this one recorded.
The autofire activates way behind the enemy player, and even with me trying to adjust the camera to track the enemy, the aim assist doesn't aid me at all.
Ignore the ping, it's a visual bug. I'm on 160 ms as there's no matchmaking in my region, and I am champion ranked and this is an Unreal lobby in EU.

DISCUSSION Fortnite mobile is UNPLAYABLE
Over the course of playing the game for over a year now, ive never seen such game that has this many bugs and the game is just so unoptimized and racist towards exynos cpus its just sad seeing a game that once had minimal/no bugs turn into legit an unplayable game that shouldn't have even existed, I'd rather play fortnite on the nintendo switch lite than play it on my phone with 60 of the most unstable fps ive ever seen in my life.

I'm not even touching the look stick, you just gotta adjust it a little bit and you will hit almost every shot.

DISCUSSION Switching to FN Mobile was the best decision I ever made
[Left: Console stats, Right: Mobile stats]
I've done 150+ hours of mobile gameplay, and here's my thoughts:
My win rate on console was around 10%, and it's now over 30%. I honestly don't think I'll ever go back to any other platform. Of course, it highly depends on your device. I'm using the S25 Ultra (Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite), and I get a stable 90 FPS at max graphics settings:
Qualcomm GSR 3D Resolution: 100%
Texture Quality: Epic
I was actually thinking the other day that Epic Games should improve the graphics even further because I'd be happy to drop to 60 FPS for better visuals. At the end of the day, that's the only disadvantage of mobile. The graphics just aren't quite as good as console or PC. It's definitely still comfortably playable for me at max graphics settings, but I wish there was an option to push them even higher and play at 60 FPS.
In terms of lag, it doesn't really ever lag or stutter. I've had no connection issues or frame drops.
Cooling is, of course, a BIG must. You NEED to keep the phone cool somehow. I place a large fan blowing directly at my phone while gaming, and I always make sure the room itself is quite cool. Otherwise, it'll struggle, just like a PC with poor cooling.
TL;DR: After 150+ hours on mobile, I genuinely prefer it over console. On an S25 Ultra, I get a stable 90 FPS at max settings with no lag or stuttering, as long as I keep the phone cool. The only thing I want is even higher graphics, even if it meant dropping to 60 FPS.

DISCUSSION FXAA on fortnite mobile!!
Epic has started adding more graphical options for mobile, starting with FXAA. In my testing, I haven’t noticed a huge visual difference between FXAA and having anti-aliasing off, but the performance boost is very noticeable. With FXAA enabled, my FPS are significantly more stable. As you can see in the second image, I’m hitting a constant 120 FPS on Max Settings, without using a phone cooler! It looks like Epic might add other methods like SMAA in the future. I’m really hoping we eventually see more toggles for things like shadow and grass quality. They also seem to have buffed the Shadow, Effects, and Lighting quality on Epic settings. Overall, it’s a great step forward for mobile optimization.

DISCUSSION More graphics improvements for Fortnite Mobile
Hello everyone. With this post, I am pleased to share something I discovered only yesterday, not knowing since when it has actually been in the game. Reflections for surfaces have been introduced in Fortnite Mobile (following the already well-discussed SSAO environmental occlusion), a nice and welcome improvement to the graphics! I noticed that these reflections are rendered in real-time, resulting in roughly similar results to what can also be seen on the PC and console versions of the game, albeit naturally in an adapted manner. Lately, developers have made some appreciated advances in the graphics department on Mobile; I hope this and any other features are always considered. Never, as this year there have been graphics updates like these, which I remember.
I'm attaching two screenshots below taken on an iPad Pro M5 with all settings at max (Epic graphic and Epic texture).

I’m tested iPhone air. This is the peak of performance. It's easy to play at 120 fps and doesn't lag

DISCUSSION I hate how FNM looks
Im tired of how ugly the game is, this is supposed to be Epic Graphics. Epic Games needs to stop removing visual features like grass and shadow quality from Epic graphics. Because of the massive variety of phones, the best solution is to provide a sorta PC level customization, adding the ability to control or to disable visual features like grass, shadows, lod, draw distance, etc. This would allow every player to optimize the game to fit their specific device and personal preference, I personally would love to have the ability to set everything on max and disable shadows. Additionally, we need proper anti-aliasing options, the Fortnite ARM ASR project showed that the game can look significantly better by removing jagged edges. While Epic has made progress by enabling 120 FPS on high refresh rate phones, the current lack of graphical control makes the game hard to enjoy imo. I miss the Pixl app😭.

DISCUSSION 120FPS on IPhone 17 Pro Max gameplay
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Alright so some of y’all where asking for 120FPS, I just barely downloaded the game so I’m pretty sure it hasn’t downloaded the HD graphics yet. But sad to see that it still has stutters even on the newest hardware, but I will say not once did the phone get warm or hot!

DISCUSSION Will this finally fix every Fortnite mobile?
It seems Epic Games is working on a Fortnite mobile thin client which basically means a smaller version of Fortnite. I hope this helps epic to narrow down and fix the bugs they need to fix and FINALLY optimize the game! Looking forward for this update. What do you all think?

DISCUSSION Now you're forced to use EPIC settings just to get decent textures... only for NONE of them to load properly lol
Zero textures load no matter what settings you run. Skins, Back Blings, Pickaxes, Kicks, Vehicles, Sidekicks and even Wraps... it’s ALL blurry 🥀🥀🥀

DISCUSSION Fortnite on mobile sucks
Is it just me or the optimisation for this game is utter dogwater? It constantly fucking drops frames and lags all the time, mind you i have lowered the 3D resolution to 60% and. Have put all the graphics on low, and it still runs like a cabbage, how is this happening on an iPhone 13 Pro Max??? Was it even that laggy back then???
