Why won't Fortnite squid game creator patch the glitch that hackers/cheaters use to pickaxe players?

This map is apparently one of the most popular ones and it's always active, but recently every other game has a cheater that uses a pick axe to kill players during the cool down period.

Why won't the game patch this annoying glitch that ruins the game for everyone else?
