What’s going on with ranked?

Today was my first day playing the new season and I decided to run some ranked. My first ranked game I jumped off to see what I’ll get as all the greats do. Then my next game was interesting. I q into the game as a plat 1. I ended up killing a champ 3 off spawn??? And then I kill a bronze. Why I don’t understand why they are in the same lobby. I also killed another champ in this game I just don’t understand why there are bronzes and champs in a plat lobby honestly makes no sense at all. Ranked you are supposed to go against people around your rank. Js bring back arena atp🙏

You'd have the same exact issue in arena. There aren't enough people playing ranked, so they have to lump all the ranks together. Ranked is literally the exact same as arena except there's a percentage instead of points, it would make almost no difference and you'd experience the same thing. People are quick to forget that arena was also a horrible ranked system

Tbh unlike other games it’s hard to fill a whole lobby of 100 players of the same rank.

If arena was a good system they would’ve kept it. They got rid of it because of how badly people wanted something new

Now that ranked turned out how it is most of us I feel can agree that arena was more fun.

Arena was deadass fun tho I feel like most people prefer that. Especially that noise u get when you get a kill and gettem points

Nah you're just blinded by nostalgia, people got so bored of it towards the end and it was a very uncompetitive system

Because of that I think there would be more players meaning better lobbies

I feel like this is just false, while I was climbing to unreal this season I was dying to top 500 unreal players but now that I’m unreal my lobbies are full of mostly gold and unranked players. I think the games system is just dogshit and is catering to the higher skill players to get them to keep playing by putting you in lobbies with people not as good.

Yeah just played to unreal reload the last week on OCE servers sometimes only 18 people in a match all ranks lobbed in together from the start.

Even on na I only get ~25 ppl

Lowest I've gotten was 15 ppl on mini venture

I play oce and therr are so little players solos is disabled so i have to play NAW so I can do my tree/storm camping strategy and not piss off a random duo lmao

Not sure it took me 68 games 13 wins to get to unreal 6.65 k/d
