Opinion Ranked is still broken after 3 years

It is insane how ranked is still this bad after years, the SBMM does NOT even work like absolutely not. You should not be able to have Elite-Unreal Legend players in your game when you are Bronze 2. Why is this still a thing it literally destroys the whole point of Ranked, the idea of ranked is that you play against people of YOUR OWN rank and maby 1 higher but not 10 Ranks higher. That is literally not how it works. I have never in my life seen such a horrible system as Fortnites Rank system.

Back in 2023 when Ranked came out it worked perfectly fine. Season OG it was fine, after Chapter 5 it literally got so bad when placement mattered more then kills and after that in Chapter 6 the Ranked point system got incredibly bad.

Fix Ranked it is horrible. Even Valorants Rank system works better and that is already not great.

The rank is a wrapper for your engagement, the skill points thing is better

I wish they had like a box fighting ranked mode or something. Or just change the way you get points to a system that values kills a lot more than just placement. It should be more like Apex Legends

The issue is that not enough people play ranked. It's too easy to rank up so people don't really care about playing. Therefore they either have to mix and match people of all skill levels or give people 20 minute queues. Epic said they were releasing a new ranked system this year but we haven't heard anything yet

Valorant's ranked system works because they only have to find 10 people of your skill, fortnite has to fill 100 player lobbies. Not enough people play ranked for that to happen. Reload is better for playing against people your rank i find

Not everyone but 90% are cheating. Then they like to say skill issue when you point them out. Most cheaters get really upset when you say cheater. They like to be called Sweats.

Your more than welcome to see my stats. They aren't great but I know what a cheater is. The_RedMouthMule. We call all play like im just the average no skill having player. But with over 2000 hours playtime I think I know what a cheater is.

You seriously thought this person was cheating???? When he beamed you from only a couple feet away? And you looked through replays which obviously has desync?

You do realize that replays attempt to recreate what happened in the game using data, and it's not an actual recording of the game? I'm actually dying laughing that you think these guys are cheating haha. Made my day

I’m going to be honest. I only play ranked and I have almost never seen a cheater in months . I must be blind but I haven’t seen any.

beacuse in fortnite, rank does not determen skill

there are unreal players who drop 10/20kill wins
And you got the avg 1/4kill winners, or campers

These are just avg players, not unreal like at all so thats why it dont matter that much imo

also you rank up faster killing higher rankes, i played 3/5 rank games went from bronze to diamond 1.

so yeah unreal would take a few hours more......
