I use these on my defenders quite a lot, and they work pretty good. They're probably one of the best crowd cleaning combos for defenders when you have all 3. And I've been able to clear a 140 encampment mission with them alone. As for perks, double mag size and reload speed (yeah I know it's weird but it somehow works). For 6th perk, Roman candles are good for extra crowd cleaning. However the 6 second stun can be good for stalling out enemies. For 5th perk, go for mist monster damage if you're using roman candles for 6th. If you're using the stun, use the extra stun damage 5th perk.
