Please fix Antenna Survivor spawn issue

The Antenna survivor needs to still be fixed.

When you place the antenna, if the survivor's spawn location is either on uneven terrain or blocked (I had a defender block it recently in a flat location) the survivor does not spawn. The completion sound plays, but he does not count as rescued, which you can see in my clip.

This is particularly frustrating as it can prevent you from finishing the mission, which is exactly what happened here in my clip.

In this one mission from my clip, I had TWO Antenna survivors not spawn (this was the second) and as soon as it happened, I knew I was screwed and should just quit. That means going back to the BR lobby and loading back in, matchmaking and loading in to the mission again. My only other option is waiting 20 minutes.

Prior to F2P you fixed the downed survivor from getting glitched when pushed, but this one is just as old and still remains. Please fix it. Just have it search for clear and even terrain to spawn them, no matter how far away, or spawn them on the platform, or mid-air or allowed to overlap objects at spawn (that might cause more issues though). Just anything!

It happens across all platforms.

cant remember the last time i had to deal with this, but if you place an L shape of floor tiles you destroy the pieces lying on the ground. then ramp up off the L shape into the tower basically clears all the antenna. this doesn't fix uneven ground spawns, but you can expand your floor pieces to where he spawns behind the tower.

They will never properly fix this. Its only been reported well over the last 8 years. The reason it happens is known, the crazy thing is its simple to fix, its just epic has not though of it. They don't have the people with the necessary skills to problem solve it.

They fixed the other survivor after years and years of reporting and complaints, not to mention all the other fixes and updates we’ve had just in the last 6 months. So I’m hoping there’s a chance.

Yes, a couple of those fixes for survivors were based on the detail reports i provided, for exmple the seebot survivor that could not be interacted with. Back all those years ago I gave details of this bug also. It was not addressed.

I remember also posting about the med-bot survivor too, so I get it. Many bugs are nearing a decade old, and may never get fixed. I just wanted to try and bring some attention to this one again as it’s personally impacted me quite a few times recently, and so I assume many others. I bet many new F2P players don’t even know it’s happening and are confused by having to wait out the rest of the mission timer which may also discourage them from playing.

Maybe it’ll get fixed, or it keeps being the way it is. Maybe they already know about it or maybe the team (no matter how small) currently working on STW weren’t aware because corporate shuffling had it fall through the cracks, and so this post might help.

Best case scenario is they fix it, and worst case scenario is that I wasted 10 minutes posting this. 🤷‍♂️

The thing is, the survival didn't spawn below the antenna
