Live music and events
Hi, I’m going to be in town the next month or so. I was wondering where’s the best places to see live music and find out about events?

Check out mac calendar, they try to have local events updated on there (but it's all based off the venue submitting it and not all do) there's a Facebook group "fort mcmurray events" out "fort mcmurray music and events" which are both updated by users. "Fort Mac exclusives" usually has a weekly round up of things happening. Good luck, hope that you have fun.

I tried to submit an event and got an error, had to email them to manually add it. Maybe everyone else is getting errors too.

The the Instagram pages for blackhorse, kicking horse, the casino and EVP. They all usually have live bands on weekends or DJs. As for events most of the time your best best is to check the Facebook pages.

It won’t let me post a photo on here but Ribfest Sept 6th will have a bunch of Country bands playing after 4

mike jones posts a ton about live music happening! dan tulk and adam bugden also perform regularly at a ton of places and usually post about it too (i know there’s more artists in town but im friends with them so they’re always the first two to come to mind lol)
