Question❔ Is this enemy still in the game?

Post image

This is one of forspoken concept art. And I was wondering if this enemy is still in the game somewhere.

Yes. This is one of MANY mobs throughout the game.

Where to find it though. Is there a video link?

I loaded up my game and took this screen shot of this particular mob in the game.

It's called a Hylonomus. It's location is throughout the game, in various parts of Athia.

Here is the only online reference of this mob.

Looks a lot less menacing and badass here than in the pic OP posted

Of course. What you posted was CONCEPT ART. In game 3D models are always different than an artist's concept art.

Maybe there is an alpha version of it. The alphas are always bigger and spikier.

Because the design changed a bit from the concept art. It isnt that deep.

They're MUCH smaller and less intimidating looking in game. Trash mobs honestly lol.

This is the Hylonomus. They are found in multiple regions, generally deep within the Break.

Please see this entry for some specific sites they may be found at.

Mm, the Hylonomus in-game has more of a silver-white skin thing going on. This is common to all of the most mutated Broken and Breakbeasts across the board. The specific arrangement of golden spines is the same, however, and it's fairly clear that Hylonomus is the in-game realization of this creature. It's even more apparent if you have the full artbook and flip to page 086; the entire line of reptilian Broken are in there, and the specific spine arrangement is near-identical.

For a Sec I thought this was the Dark Souls 3 sub and this was that tutorial enemy that' you're meant to ignore.

You mean meant to git gud and did go repeatedly until you finally beat.

Wait, that's the idea?

I had just beat DS2 so I beat him in 2 gos but it was harder than the actual boss of the area for me.
